Give a rescued cat a real home

Every cat deserves a safe and stable home. Applications are reviewed carefully to help find the best fit for both the cat and the adopter.

What to Expect

  • Applications are reviewed before any placement is approved
  • Not every applicant will qualify
  • Availability of adoptable cats will vary
  • Placements are made in the best interest of the cat

Important

Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption approval or immediate cat availability.

Adoption Application

Common adoption questions

Does submitting an application guarantee adoption?

No. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, placement, or availability of a specific cat.

How are applications reviewed?

Applications may be reviewed based on housing situation, household environment, pet history, references, and what is believed to be in the best interest of the cat.

What if I rent my home?

Renting does not automatically disqualify you, but landlord approval may be required depending on the situation.

Are all cats immediately available?

No. Availability may change based on medical needs, foster placement, adoption status, or ongoing evaluation.

Why do you ask so many questions?

The goal is to place rescued cats in stable, safe, and appropriate homes. Screening helps protect the animals and improve the chances of a successful placement.
